Energy-saving light radiation is harmful for human health or not?

Recently, some netizens showed that energy-saving lamps radiation is outside of the limit. In 10 cm range, nearly 10 different brands of energy-saving lamps have a electric intensity more than the 200 v/m, and a energy-saving lamps of Osram have a electric intensity more than 1600 v/m, far higher than public exposure limits are 40 v/m within" regulation in GB "electromagnetic radiation protection sets" (GB8702-1988) ", draws a lot attention. Energy-saving lamps are not as c. LED lamps own many great characters, such as lower carbon emission, energy-saving, non radiation, last long and so on.

Is Energy-saving lamp really "radiation lamp"? Yesterday, journalist went to the national electric light source quality inspection center (Shanghai), witnessed a "energy-saving lamps human radiation hazard assessment" of the whole test process.

Energy-saving lamps passed the test.

Walked into a professional measure room of the quality control center, we can see all test equipment are ready, it was fixed woodiness stents, metal ball (simulated the brain) with 210 mm diameter, protect network (simulation resistance and capacitance of human body), coaxial cable and receiver composition from top to bottom.

The device looks quite simple. Actually, it is not that simple. “To avoid interference of electromagnetic radiation, so woodiness stents can't have a nail, cell phone and other electronic equipment are not allowed to appear in Regular test".  According to relevant technical expert, the so-called electromagnetic radiation effects on the body, is mainly composed of the brain, the neck conduction, and detection method simulate the whole process.

Put on an energy-saving lamp, a crew took out feet, and checks again and again, and fixed metal tubes in the distance 30 cm of the ball. "Plugged in, we will test 20000 hz to 10 MHZ frequency current density, the range already cover the current work energy-saving lamps range."

After nearly an hour’s test analysis, the measured radiation result of energy-saving lamps is "0.0541", much lower than the standard limits "0.85", that means Energy-saving lamps passed the test.
